Position Summary:
The School of Applied Engineering and
Technology (SAET) at New Jersey Institute of Technology invites applications
for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Engineering Education Division. The
candidate will be working on project focused on examining entrepreneurial
motivation among engineering students, and then using the findings in the
integration of entrepreneurial learning module in first-year CAD courses.

Essential Functions:
The research associate will participate in:
-Data collection
and analysis.
-Teaching, training and supervision of graduate and undergraduate
students.
-Preparing manuscripts, reports, and conference publications.
-A
portion of the time could be dedicated to the candidate's' professional
development in teaching graduate courses and/or grant writing. Candidates
nearing graduation are encouraged to apply.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
-A PhD degree in engineering education, STEM education, or
a closely related field.
-A successful candidate for this position requires
strong qualitative research background, ability to conduct theoretically rooted
research, and excellent writing skills.
-At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Bargaining Unit:

Salary Information:
In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the negotiated starting annual salary for this position is $62,232.00 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
