Purpose of the role

You play an integral role in keeping our night-shift warehouse operations running smoothly and safely. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you guide a team through the day-to-day activities that keep materials moving, support project delivery and help us meet our customers' expectations. You set the tone for performance, empower your team and make sure our systems, processes and people are aligned to deliver consistent results.

Core Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading, coaching and supporting a night-shift warehouse team to meet operational priorities, performance targets and safety expectations.

  • Overseeing inventory control, material handling, storage and distribution activities to maintain accuracy and compliance.

  • Ensuring all warehouse processes and documentation follow Worley policies, customer requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Coordinating inbound and outbound materials, including scheduling, inspections, issue resolution and reporting.

  • Troubleshooting issues across warehouse systems and tools, and helping others build confidence in their use.

  • Monitoring resource needs and supporting workforce planning, training and development.

  • Building strong relationships with the construction project team, suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep communication clear and timely.

  • Making informed decisions that support daily operations, manage risk and keep the team aligned to broader business objectives.

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety and overall warehouse performance.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Broad experience in warehouse, logistics or materials management, typically backed by 7+ years in a related field.

  • A university degree or equivalent work experience in supply chain, operations, logistics or a similar discipline.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate and develop a team.

  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving and technical capabilities, with confidence across warehouse systems and digital tools.

  • The ability to communicate clearly, inform and persuade on complex matters and build trust with partners, teams and stakeholders.

  • Awareness of how warehouse operations connect to project delivery, customer needs and wider business strategies.

  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and the confidence to take initiative when priorities shift.

  • Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement across every aspect of warehouse work.
