About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sr Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Analyst to join our growing Accounting team. This role will report to the Sr Director, Accounting and will play an important part in supporting Abnormal AI's technical accounting and financial reporting efforts as the company continues to scale and mature its reporting processes. This is a high-impact individual contributor role focused heavily on technical accounting research, documentation, and memo writing. The person in this role will evaluate complex accounting issues, develop clear accounting positions under U.S. GAAP, and prepare well-structured technical accounting memos that support those conclusions. As the company continues to grow, this role will also help develop and document technical accounting policies, processes, and documentation standards that support scalable financial reporting. This includes partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure complex transactions are properly researched, documented, and supported. What you will do
