Location: Silverdale, WA (Bangor)

Type: Exempt

Work Schedule: Full Time

Compensation: $115,350-$121,832/annually (Tessera's compensation strategy is to position new employees between the minimum and midpoint of this range, depending on qualifications and experience.)

Tessera is seeking an Electrical Supervisor with a positive and professional attitude. The Electrical Supervisor's primary duty and responsibility is to supervise the total work effort associated with operation, sustainment, restoration, and modernization of the facility electrical systems and components. The Electrical Supervisor should possess in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and relevant codes and regulations and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex electrical issues.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of electricians, delegating tasks, and providing technical guidance.

  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues often requires advanced technical skills.

  • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.

  • Performs routine electrical maintenance to ensure lighting systems operate efficiently in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, especially when working with energized equipment

  • Planning, scheduling, and overseeing electrical projects, including material procurement and cost estimation.

  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed, generating reports, and communicating effectively with the customer.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in electrical engineering or related field

  • 3-5 years in Commercial and Electrical Systems and Controls

  • Washington State EL-01 Journeyman Electrician license required.

  • Equivalent combination of experience and education accepted.

  • Possessing in-depth knowledge of electrical systems components, and relevant codes and regulations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex electrical issues.

  • Keen eye for detail to ensure projects are installed correctly and safely.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, crawl, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

  • A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
