Department Summary:
We are looking for a science-loving person who will be part of an amazing team of research professionals focused on understanding platelet biology in a dynamic academic environment. This individual will be involved in scientific studies aimed at understanding how platelets are produced and how they contribute to disease processes like cancer, obesity, and aging. Under the general supervision of the investigator, they will perform cell culture and laboratory experiments in the fields of Hematopoiesis and Platelet and Megakaryocyte Biology. As experiments proceed, they will consult with PIs and lab members to determine necessary adjustments in design and implement these changes. There is room for scientific growth in this position, and we encourage applicants who are interested in working on an independent project once the primary skills are mastered. Specific Area of Research: Hematopoiesis, Micro particles, Megakaryocyte/Platelet Cell Biology Key Responsibilities:

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
