Position Summary/ Department Summary:
The Research Administrative Manger in Adolescent Medicine will work under the supervision of the Division Manager, provide overall management of the Division of Adolescent Medicine research portfolio in partnership with the other Research Administrative staff and Principal Investigators to ensure compliance and successful completion of research activities. Performs complex pre-award and post-award functions for all federal and/or state grant funds, private foundation grants, subcontracts, discretionary and endowment funds, and/or any other sponsored funds in their portfolio. Participates in strategic planning for research endeavors in the Division, including overall financial analysis and long term projections in conjunction with leadership. Serves as an advisor to Principal Investigators and other research staff regarding proposal and budget preparation, interpretation of sponsor guidelines and regulations, and problem resolution. Manages and oversees the grant application process, ensuring overall compliance and timely submission and assists in budget development. Establishes departmental policies, systems and procedures to monitor research purchases and day-to-day spending. Performs financial analysis on grants including but not limited to forecasting and communicating results to Principal Investigators. Proficient in the departmental administration of effort classification and reporting, as well as ensure timely submission of completed effort reports. Collaborates with Division Manager and appropriate Boston Children's central administration offices to represent the needs of the Research Faculty. Mentors, coaches and trains Research Administrators as needed. Directly supervises the Boston Center for Endometriosis research staff. Key Responsibilities:

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
