DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Outreach & Education Analyst, you will support the implementation of Pennie's outreach and education strategy, helping to increase awareness of Pennie and connect Pennsylvanians to health coverage. You will engage with consumers and stakeholders to educate them about the importance of health coverage, highlight available resources, and facilitate informed consumer decision-making. In this role, you will be representing Pennie across the Commonwealth at public-facing outreach and education opportunities including community events, meetings, trainings, and conferences.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Regular in-state travel and periodic out-of-state travel required.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
  • Salary: In most cases, the salary for Pennie positions will start at the beginning of the posted salary range and may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of professional experience in community outreach, community education, and/or stakeholder engagement; and a bachelor's degree in liberal arts, public health, public administration, communications, public relations, marketing (or equivalent education and experience).

Additional Requirements:

  • You must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Allegheny, Beaver, Washington, or Westmoreland County.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

  • Experience with Affordable Care Act (ACA) state-based exchanges and/or Medicaid programs.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
