Your role will involve hands-on engineering work across the EGSE lifecycle-including requirements development, troubleshooting, system enhancements, and cross-functional coordination-to ensure high system performance and reliability in support of satellite programs.

Responsibilities

EGSE System Design & Development * Support the design, development, and deployment of EGSE systems including hardware interfaces, power supplies, data buses, and communication links. * Ensure EGSE systems meet program requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards. * Assist in the development of test procedures, system configurations, and validation protocols.

Troubleshooting & Support * Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to EGSE systems during integration and test campaigns. * Provide real-time support during system-level test activities, including anomaly resolution and root cause analysis. * Document and implement improvements to EGSE tools, processes, and procedures based on findings.

System Integration & Validation * Perform integration and functional verification of EGSE hardware and software components. * Contribute to system-level testing by ensuring EGSE accurately replicates spacecraft interfaces and functionality. * Validate EGSE performance through rigorous testing and support configuration control of test systems.

Collaboration & Process Coordination * Work closely with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and IT teams to ensure EGSE solutions meet operational needs. * Participate in design reviews, readiness assessments, and failure review boards. * Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams for hardware sourcing and vendor technical support.

Documentation & Reporting * Maintain detailed documentation of EGSE configurations, modifications, and validation activities. * Support change control processes by documenting engineering changes, system upgrades, and technical decisions. * Generate and maintain reports for internal and customer-facing reviews.

Qualifications

Education: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline required.

Experience: * 3-6 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on test systems or EGSE preferred. * Experience supporting hardware/software integration and validation in a space or aerospace environment. * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level technical issues. * Familiarity with spacecraft electrical systems and test environments a plus.
