Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage your talents in an innovative environment and collaborate with other talented professionals? If you have a passion for delivering top-notch eye care services and you're looking for a full-time opportunity in the beautiful Sacramento area, this is the perfect place for you.

Why join us?

EYEcenter Optometric's mission is to provide the most personalized, distinctive eye care experience in California. Founded in 1960 by Dr. Fred Fuerst, this practice has grown to serve the Sacramento Valley and Sierra Nevada Foothills communities. The combination of cutting-edge technologies and a caring team of professionals has fueled this practice's expansion in Northern California, with locations in Citrus Heights, Folsom, Gold River, Rocklin, and Midtown Sacramento. All locations offer a wide range of services, including eye health exams, vision correction, and specialized treatments such as myopia control, Lasik, refractive surgery co-management, and dry eye management. With a strong focus on patient education and preventative care, the dedicated team ensures that every patient receives a comprehensive and caring experience.

What you'll do:

As a member of the EYEcenter Optometric team, you'll work in a modern, dynamic, state-of-the-art medical clinic. You'll provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, visual and medical conditions, educate patients about their ocular health, and recommend vision-enhancing products.

You'll benefit from access to state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, allowing you to deliver the highest standard of patient care. The schedule typically includes up to twenty-two appointments per day, with the expectation of performing two comprehensive exams each hour. Flexibility is also encouraged to accommodate extended appointments when patient needs require it, ensuring each individual receives attentive and personalized service. All locations are entirely cloud-based, supporting a paperless environment that enables electronic medical records and charting from anywhere-plus, a highly-trained staff to support you throughout examinations.

Who you are:

You're a dynamic and versatile professional who excels within a clinical, fast-paced setting. Your proficiency in various facets of optometry will be integral to delivering efficient and comprehensive care to special populations. Your enthusiasm to contribute to the practice's distinguished reputation and preserve its legacy is greatly valued. You consistently stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and lens technologies to ensure patients are aware of the visual solutions that will meet their individual needs. The ideal candidate will have experience with vision therapy and ocular diseases, and treatments. This position is open to both experienced professionals and recent graduates.

Why you'll love Sacramento:

Located in America's farm-to-fork capital, Sacramento offers local artisanal coffee and craft brews, picturesque neighborhoods, freshwater rivers and lakes, and culturally rich activities and events. One of its greatest advantages is ideal weather-hot summers with low humidity and cool nights, plus mild winters and subtle weather changes that allow the changing of seasons. Its proximity to some of California's most visited destinations-Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Napa, Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz, and Yosemite, to name a few-makes it an ideal place to call home.
