Our client is looking for an Epic Willow Inpatient Certified Analyst to assist with optimization.
Job Scope: Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of Epic Willow Inpatient functionality across the health system. This includes managing daily operational needs, maintaining medication and build integrity, and supporting pharmacy workflows associated with order management, dispensing, compounding, and clinical decision support. Assist with routine and ad-hoc application maintenance such as medication build, order set updates, formulary modifications, shortage workflows, new medication additions, and operational changes driven by clinical, operational, or regulatory requirements. Configure and validate application settings to support safe and efficient inpatient pharmacy operations. Review and validate build performed by Application Analysts, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to governance and change-control processes. Coordinate and participate in ongoing operational support activities including end-user engagement, workflow validation, troubleshooting, issue analysis, and readiness assessments for build changes or workflow updates. Provide user support and training as needed for updated or newly introduced Willow Inpatient functionality. Work closely with pharmacy third-party systems-such as Pyxis (automated dispensing cabinets), DoseEdge (IV workflow management), and Sentry/340B tools-to ensure integration stability, data accuracy, and consistent workflow alignment across the medication-use process. Collaborate with internal and external partners to support interface maintenance, identify integration-related issues, and optimize cross-system performance. Analyze the need for system modifications and collaborate with Epic Technical Services, Montefiore IT associates, and third-party vendors to implement enhancements or workflow improvements. Provide advanced application troubleshooting and independently resolve critical application issues, integration problems, or workflow-related defects. Interpret pharmacy end-user requirements to determine optimal solutions within the Willow Inpatient framework, identifying risks, workflow gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Evaluate clinical and operational pharmacy workflows to ensure alignment with patient safety standards, compliance requirements, and organizational policies. Develop and execute test plans for new build, upgrades, medication file changes, order set updates, and configuration adjustments. Assist in the build, validation, and testing initiatives required to support the organization's future transition to Epic's Dispense Prep solution, ensuring integration readiness and alignment with broader pharmacy workflows.
