Licensed Professionals Only - Must Have Connecticut Low Voltage License Position Title Lead Low Voltage Technician - CT Low Voltage License Required Location Hartford, CT (On-site) Employment Type Full-Time, Monday through Friday Initial 6-month contract with intent to convert to permanent employment upon successful performance. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Low Voltage Technician to join a reputable workspace solutions company in Hartford County. This position requires an active Connecticut Low Voltage License-applications without this license will not be considered. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading crews on low voltage projects, strong technical expertise, and the ability to deliver high-quality installations and service. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage low voltage installation projects in commercial environments * Supervise and mentor crews, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards * Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance checks * Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate project delivery * Maintain strict adherence to all licensing and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications * Active Connecticut Low Voltage License (mandatory) * Demonstrated experience leading crews on low voltage projects * Proven expertise in low voltage systems installation and maintenance * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics * Strong leadership and communication skills Preferred Qualifications * Experience with AV systems, network cabling, and integrated workspace solutions * Industry certifications such as CTS, BICSI, or equivalent Compensation Rates are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
