Position Summary: The Traffic Data Collection Field Technician is responsible for data collection and will be responsible for setting up count equipment in the field. Types of data collection include turning movement counts, portable counts, pedestrian and bicycle counts and various traffic studies. The technician will be required to work both inside of the office and in the field depending on the tasks being performed. Field operations may require working in a wide range of weather and roadway conditions. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification. Compensation for this opportunity is $54,00.00 - $62,4000.00/year commensurate with experience, education, and certifications. Working Conditions This is a predominantly a field-based position. Travel will be needed between traffic count sites based on client and project needs and could include out of state travel. Field work is required and would be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid. and dry/arid conditions. Weekend work may be needed. Lifting (of greater than 25 lbs.) will be required as needed.
