As an Assistant Program Delivery Manager, LPV - Meetings and Events at JLL, this role focuses on events held within our Large Production Venues (LPV), which host significant company gatherings including All Hands Meetings, Classroom Trainings, and Expos. You will manage the execution of large-scale events, working closely with full-service producers and production teams to coordinate lighting, audio, video, and livestreaming requirements while supervising event team members and collaborating with third-party vendors to ensure seamless delivery of high-level special events as requested by Amazon Event Organizers. This position involves comprehensive event planning, including conducting site visits, leading planning meetings, and coordinating final details with stakeholders while developing and implementing new policies and procedures. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in managing complex technical productions and the capability to make independent decisions while maintaining professional relationships with contractors, production staff, and venue management teams, directly contributing to JLL's mission of delivering exceptional large-scale event experiences through superior program management and operational excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Provide day-to-day supervision of events team members in support of Meetings and Events program while overseeing and coordinating with event support staff and third-party vendors
  • Independently manage and execute high-level special events as requested by Amazon Event Organizer while leading comprehensive event planning including site visits and planning meetings
  • Develop and implement new policies and procedures while analyzing and optimizing existing operational procedures for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Track and analyze team performance metrics while preparing and presenting monthly performance reports to Program Delivery Manager
  • Coordinate lighting, audio, video, and livestreaming requirements working closely with full-service producers and production teams for Large Production Venues
  • Provide prompt and courteous responses to Amazon Event Organizer and client requests within guidelines set forth by Amazon Meetings & Events
  • Maintain ethical, professional, and courteous relationships with contractors, employees, and property management teams while performing as effective team member
  • Prepare proposals and presentations while assisting in compiling budget information and business review metrics with flexible hours including nights, evenings and weekends.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of event management or relevant hospitality experience with demonstrated experience in team leadership and project management
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Event Management, Hospitality Management, or related field with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects with ability to exercise independent judgment in analyzing data and making decisions
  • Strong leadership capabilities with excellence in stakeholder management and communication for building relationships across business segments
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite with excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational abilities
  • Experience managing complex technical productions including lighting, audio, video, and livestreaming requirements for large-scale events
  • Ability to contribute to strategic planning and lead complex initiatives while identifying and resolving moderately complex problems using best practices
  • Flexibility to work nights, evenings and weekends as necessary with ability to maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Large Production Venues hosting significant company gatherings including All Hands Meetings, Classroom Trainings, and Expos
  • Background working with Amazon or similar technology company event requirements with knowledge of corporate event organizer coordination
  • Understanding of full-service production coordination and production team management for complex technical event requirements
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and operational procedure optimization in corporate event environments
  • Knowledge of team performance metrics tracking and monthly performance reporting to senior management
  • Familiarity with budget information compilation and business review metrics for large-scale corporate events.
