We currently offer an opportunity for a full time days, Registered Respiratory Therapist to support pulmonary function research at our acute care hospital in Cleveland.

A Brief Overview

This Level 2/experienced therapist should demonstrate the mastery of most clinical skills and focuses on improving other skills where necessary. This skills includes assessment skills and the active assessment of respiratory therapies needed and procedures according to the respiratory protocols.

What You Will Do

  • Mechanical ventilation
  • Medicated aerosol delivery
  • Airway clearance therapy
  • Patient monitoring
  • Oxygen and humidity therapy
  • Special procedures (CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, transport, etc.)

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
