We are seeking a Product Regulatory Services Specialist to manage regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions worldwide. This role is critical in ensuring our products meet all chemical inventory, registration, labeling, and safety requirements.
What You'll Do
- Ensure compliance with chemical inventory and product registration requirements across global jurisdictions (US TSCA, EU REACH, Canada, Asia-Pacific, and more).
- Monitor regulatory changes, assess impact, and implement compliance strategies.
- Track and report product volumes to authorities in accordance with regulations.
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers to maintain REACH coverage for Calumet products.
- Verify packaging and labeling compliance for all import jurisdictions (OSHA, WHMIS, CLP, etc.).
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure timely updates per regulatory changes.
- Classify products for transportation compliance (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
- Manage CHEMTREC contract for hazardous material shipping.
- Occasional travel may be required.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Regulatory Science, or related field.
- Experience:
- 2+ years in global regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, EU REACH, CLP, GHS, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of international chemical regulations and inventories.
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
- Packaging regulatory compliance experience strongly preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis.
- Ability to research and adapt to evolving global regulations.
