What you will do:

Under general direction and in conformance with Corporate and Division Policies and procedures, helps lead financial control and accounting activities to assure accurate and timely preparation, recording, transmissions, analysis, and communication of data necessary to control operations and achieve objectives. Provides analysis, counsel, advice, and recommendations to help plant management make business decisions to reduce costs, improve profits and return on investment and to achieve goals and plans. Ensure the integrity of the financial information generated at the plant. Implement consistency and process improvements and spread financial knowledge to other members of the sales and operations teams.

How will you do it:

  • Analyzing monthly financial results for the full P&L at the plant, including validating the accuracy of key finance metrics.

  • Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and weekly outlooks for the facility

  • Partner with sales organization and communicate/align updates on S&OP vs financial outlooks

  • Work closely with engineering and procurement on the annual standards roll as well as monthly PPV reporting.

  • Review and monitor cycle count process and physical inventories. Help analyze reports for variance problems, physical to book inventory variations, and takes corrective action.

  • Partner with the shared service center teams to ensure balance sheet reconciliations are performed and reviewed on a timely basis. Responsible for reviewing all key and subjective reserve accounts on at least a quarterly basis.

  • Assist in preparation/review of CAR financial justifications for plant capital projects. Track capital project spending, timing and cost impact against project plan, forecasts and budget to understand and report variances. Work with project managers to assure timely capitalization of equipment placed in use. Assist/perform sample CAR post audits to verify savings. Coordinates periodic fixed asset physical inventory per company policies.

  • Reviews payroll and labor analysis and ensure applicable payroll controls are in place.

  • Ensure adherence to Corporate and Divisional accounting/internal control procedures, SOX compliance and reporting requirements for all plants.

  • Analyzes plant operating costs in detail and partners with plant operation leaders to develop actions to increase profitability and enhance long-term return on investment.

  • Work with operations on driving plant continuous improvement and validate all CI initiatives for accuracy.

  • Performs special studies and analyses at request of plant or division management.

What we look for:

Required

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.

  • 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent through different experience.

  • StrongknowledgeofinternalcontrolsandUSGAAPaccounting.

  • Outstandingabilitytocommunicate,motivateandpartner with business operation leaders

Preferred:

  • Microsoft suite, HFM - Hyperion Financial Management, and SAP

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $112,000 -$150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
