Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement long-term growth strategies and initiatives that align with the company's vision and objectives. Expert on the business segment Long Range Plan (strategy and initiatives embedded within it), with focus on adding to/enhancing top-line aspirations, as well as ensuring and de-risking Long Range Plan delivery through strategic choices/focus.
  • Act as a key strategic advisor to the business segment ELT leader, focused on top growth initiatives for the business segment (organic and inorganic); Partner with both junior and senior leadership to ensure alignment of growth initiatives with overall business goals - act as a thought partner to the segment team.
  • Consistently execute detailed analytics in support of recommendations, crafting executive-level storylines and discussion materials.
  • Act as the lead for certain partnership relationships, ensuring connectivity and driving cross-ADV opportunities. Lead cross-functional teams for top initiatives, driving the initiative forward and acting as owner.
  • Drive growth by helping to identify potential new sources of revenue, from partners, capability development, and "Big Bets" within the LRP. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and integration of growth initiatives.
  • Ensure the effective execution of growth initiatives by overseeing project management, resource allocation, and performance tracking. Support key leadership and strategic planning conversations, with opportunity and diagnostic analyses, material creation, and executive story-lining (e.g., drive the Board materials process).
  • Act as a conduit to the rest of ADV for the segment, driving enterprise connectivity, ensuring prioritization of segment opportunities, and bringing an enterprise lens to our major segment customers.
  • Drive the technology agenda from a business perspective, with a differential eye toward AI adoption and new solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical background
    • 5 to 7 years in the retail or CPG industry
  • Strategic thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and present to all levels of leadership
  • Strong communication skills

Qualifications

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree

  • Experience Requirements: 8-10 years experience in relevant field (Proven track record of successfully leading growth initiatives and driving business transformation preferred)

  • Travel requirement: Some travel expected

Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
