Responsible for various maintenance and installation tasks including but not limited to all traffic signal equipment. This is a critical operations role that optimizes the performance of field equipment for cities, countries, and states. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial independent decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides lead direction in setting up, installing and initiating the operations and servicing of equipment at a field site.
  • Identifies and analyzes traffic control and network devices utilizing various maintenance and repair manuals, test equipment, wiring diagrams, schematics, electronic devices and electrical equipment.
  • Provides signal turn on set up, installing and initiating the operations and servicing of equipment at a field site.
  • Set up and configure video detection equipment and network connectivity.
  • Ensures customers are properly trained and up todate on the latest best practices and product features.
  • Conducts training seminars (presentations and in-field) on product use and installation for customers and distributors.
  • Creates and maintains training records and entering data in SalesForce or other account management software systems.
  • Maintains records of all maintenance activities in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Maintains agency product approvals in assigned region.
  • Provides support and feedback to Engineering team for field trials, new products and software.
  • Assist in the growth and development of team and processes.
  • Assist in other related duties as required, including scheduling, logistics, quality performance monitoring, etc.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent, in engineering related discipline with a minimum of five years' experience in traffic signal field experience desired.
  • IMSA Level III Certification required.
  • Experience with Traffic Management Systems required.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics and use electronic tools and test equipment.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to comply with the company standard practice as it applies to field assignments.
  • Able to use typical office automation products such as word processing and spreadsheet programs.
  • Mental ability to perform analytical work.
  • May be required to travel domestically and internationally and work odd hours, in-line with customer requirements.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills required.
  • Strong commitment to efficiently achieve high quality results is required.

Cubic Pay Range:

$85,000.00 - $105,000.00* + benefits.

*Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
