Position Description: Tesla is seeking a highly motivated, process- and data-oriented Logistics Analyst to drive efficiency in our supply chain operations. What You'll Do
- Drive Cost and Process Optimization: Lead and support initiatives to streamline logistics operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency in the finished product distribution pipeline
- Develop and Monitor KPIs: Design, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product delivery timelines, transportation costs, and operational bottlenecks, presenting actionable insights to leadership through detailed reports and visualizations
- Data Analysis and Problem Solving: Utilize data-driven approaches to identify trends, forecast potential issues, and propose solutions to improve logistics workflows and reduce delays in vehicle distribution
- Adopt Technology Solutions: Leverage tools and various software to automate reporting, enhance data visibility, and support decision-making for the logistics team
- Process Documentation and Improvement: Document current logistics processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement scalable solutions to support Tesla's rapid growth and innovation goals
- Support Ground Operations: Engage with on-the-ground logistics operations to gain firsthand insight into challenges and opportunities, ensuring strategies are practical and impactful
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in technical field, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Less than 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, data analysis, or relevant industry
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups), SQL/Python/R, Tableau/PowerBI for data manipulation, reporting and visualization
- A self-driven attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to support operations or collaborate with regional teams

Expected Compensation
$72,000 - $132,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
