CNC Machinist

Available Shifts 6:30AM - 3:00PM or3:00PM - 11:30PM; Monday - Friday

• Machine precision parts to specifications using vertical CNC mills and/or CNC lathes
• Independent machine setup for small, medium, and large parts including machining of weldments
• Working with programming team and editing CAM program to ensure effective production
• Adhere to and promote safe working practices to maintain a healthy work environment
• Proactively report maintenance issues to supervisors and operations managers
• Provide constructive feedback to supervisors to address shop floor challenges and improve operations

• Minimum of 5+ years of CNC milling experience, with a strong understanding of M/G codes and CAM software
• Proficiency with Fanuc controls; programming CAM experience, Gibbs experience preferred
• Thoroughknowledge in the use of measurement and inspection tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, etc.
• Proficient in GD&T, material post processing, tooling geometries and strengths
• Exceptional organizational and self-motivation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as part of regular duties
