Senior Accountant (Accounting & Finance Blend) Fort Worth, TX - Hybrid (3 days onsite, flexible) Compensation: $100-105K base + 10% bonus A global, fast-growing supply chain solutions organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its Americas region. This role is a true blend of accounting and finance, offering broad exposure, hands-on learning, and direct access to senior leadership. You will work closely with both the FP&A Manager and FP&A Director, supporting month-end activities, customer P&Ls, operational analytics, budgeting/forecasting, and variance analysis. Key Responsibilities * Support monthly close activities including journal entries, accruals, COGS, and customer P&L analysis * Review and validate entries from business units; ensure P&Ls tie out across divisions * Perform variance analysis and proactively investigate discrepancies (e.g., inventory issues, write-offs, margin changes) * Partner with inventory and warehouse teams to identify operational drivers and ensure accurate reporting * Support forecasting and budgeting cycles; assist with weekly/monthly reforecasting * Participate in consolidation activities (journal entries, not full consolidations) * Prepare sales and margin reporting; support weekly dashboard processes * Provide financial support to key commercial accounts and assist in operational performance reviews * Use ERP and BI tools to improve reporting accuracy, structure, and automation * Assist with process improvement initiatives across accounting and finance * Work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, multi-system environment Qualifications and Skills * Strong accounting foundation required (public accounting or industry mix ideal) * 4-8 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a blended role * Experience in inventory, manufacturing, hardware, or distribution is a major plus * Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting * Advanced Excel skills required; experience with JDE, OneStream, Workiva, or similar tools preferred * Comfortable working in a dynamic, non-structured environment with evolving processes * Personality fit is critical: outgoing, collaborative, and adaptable * Ability to manage competing priorities and shift between tasks quickly * Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dive into operational details * Experience in companies $250-500M+ preferred Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
