Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is a premiere clinical and academic health system, providing expert pediatric care for infants, children and teens with some of the most challenging medical problems. With more than half of the 259 beds in our teaching hospital devoted to intensive care level services, we are the regional pediatric referral center for Florida's west coast. Physicians and community hospitals count on us to care for critically ill patients and perform complex surgical procedures. Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is recognized as a Magnet(R) designated hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the largest and most prominent nurses credentialing organization in the world. The APP supervisor will work collaboratively with the Clinical Manager of Advanced Practice and the Physician Chief of the Department or Institute they oversee. He/she will have a proficient understanding and vision of the APP's scope, education, certification and role utilization here at JHACH and at the affiliate organizations. The APP supervisor will participate in developing structured APP associated metrics for assessing outcomes of APP care and quality metrics within the care model delivery team; in ensuring that APPs meet various state and federal regulatory agency requirements, and ensure that APPs participate in cost-savings and revenue-generating practices. This position contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida State Statues and JHACH policy. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
