Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is recognized as a Magnet(R) designated hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the largest and most prominent nurses credentialing organization in the world.

The APP supervisor will work collaboratively with the Clinical Manager of Advanced Practice and the Physician Chief of the Department or Institute they oversee. He/she will have a proficient understanding and vision of the APP's scope, education, certification and role utilization here at JHACH and at the affiliate organizations. The APP supervisor will participate in developing structured APP associated metrics for assessing outcomes of APP care and quality metrics within the care model delivery team; in ensuring that APPs meet various state and federal regulatory agency requirements, and ensure that APPs participate in cost-savings and revenue-generating practices. This position contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida State Statues and JHACH policy.

Qualifications:



  • Current Florida State Licensure as ARNP or PA.
  • Current BLS and PALS/NRP.
  • Clinical Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed APP is required.
  • Current National Certification as a: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- Primary Care, Pediatric Nurse. Practitioner-Acute Care, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant.

Salary Range: Minimum 62.12/hour - Maximum 96.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
