YOUR IMPACT

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our CMG FIG FinTech team as a Vice President within the Investment Banking Division. In this role, you will lead transaction execution, strengthen client relationships and deliver strategic advice across a broad range of complex financial matters.

You will serve as a senior member of deal teams and a primary day-to-day contact for clients, while providing leadership, guidance and development to Analysts and Associates.

The FinTech Investment Banking group provides clients with advice, access to financing and execution expertise across a wide range of investment banking products, including M&A advisory, debt and equity financing, structured finance, risk management and hedging, and co-investing.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Role Responsibilities

* Develop and strengthen relationships with FinTech clients, serving as a primary day-to-day contact and strategic advisor

* Lead the execution of complex transactions from origination through closing, including M&A, private placements, and debt and equity issuances

* Translate detailed financial, valuation and industry analyses into clear strategic recommendations tailored to client objectives

* Oversee the development of financial models, customized valuation analyses, transaction materials and client presentations

* Advise clients on industry trends, strategic alternatives, financing considerations and transaction structures

* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of bankers, attorneys, tax advisors and other internal and external stakeholders

* Oversee due diligence processes and contribute actively to the negotiation of transaction documentation

* Manage deal teams and workflows to ensure high-quality execution and timely delivery

* Mentor, train and develop Analysts and Associates while fostering a collaborative team environment

* Contribute to client coverage, business development and the continued growth of the FinTech franchise

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications

* Minimum 4+ years of investment banking experience with a Master's degree, or 7+ years of investment banking or equivalent experience with a Bachelor's degree

* History of outstanding academic and professional achievement

* Demonstrated experience executing complex transactions and managing multiple workstreams

* Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively

* Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients, senior stakeholders and deal teams

* Strong leadership skills and experience managing and developing junior professionals

* Sound judgment, attention to detail and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

* Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members across multiple groups and regions

* Previous FinTech, Technology or Software sector experience preferred

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
