UNIVERSITY of MISSOURI-KANSAS CITY SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY Division of Dental Hygiene The UMKC Division of Dental Hygiene prepares students to become competent, adaptable oral health professionals who actively contribute to improving the public's oral health. As the only program in Missouri to award a baccalaureate degree in dental hygiene, and part of the state's only public dental school, we offer a long-standing, community-focused education that equips graduates to plan, implement, and evaluate dental hygiene care for populations across the lifespan. Our graduates are prepared for success in clinical practice, education, public health, hospital programs, and school-based settings, and they join an alumni network that includes roughly half of all practicing dentists in Missouri. With strong regional impact, a commitment to serving states without their own dental schools, and a public clinic that provides care across the Kansas City metro, UMKC fosters meaningful partnerships that support improved oral health and quality of life for the communities we serve. https://dentistry.umkc.edu/index.html https://dentistry.umkc.edu/about-us/ Job Description
