FTSE Russell - Sales and Account Manager- Distribution

Your Team Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated team member to accelerate revenue growth of FTSE Russell Index franchise and maintain existing strategic relationships with our distribution partners. This is a high-impact, externally visible role for a motivated individual with deep domain expertise, a proven record in business development, and a strong vision for delivering exceptional client and partner outcomes. As a key member of the FTSE Russell Index Distribution team, you will be a key player in maintaining and growing our distribution channels. You'll be responsible for engaging clients and distribution partners and working closely with the sales team to ensure alignment. This role requires close collaboration across product, sales, legal and the broader LSEG organization.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Client & Partner Engagement: Champion the MSCI index brand by articulating its value to clients and partners across institutional and wealth markets. Represent MSCI at industry conferences, events, and client forums to elevate awareness and adoption.
  • Contract Negotiation: Identify the most high-value partners in the ecosystem and engage them in a collaborative partnership model that is aligned to the FTSE Russell commercial policy.
  • Innovation & Influence: Lead innovation by fostering collaboration across clients and asset classes, always seeking to deepen and expand current partnerships.
  • Internal Advocacy: Communicate regularly and clearly with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, momentum, and sustained support for strategic initiatives.

Skills, Requirements & Competencies

  • 8-10 years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on data
  • Deep understanding of the Index product landscape and key players across the buyside and service providers
  • Understanding of benchmarks and how they fit into the investment process, particularly within Asset Management and Wealth Management
  • Proven experience in sales and relationship management, ideally in index
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a large and complex global organization.
  • Superior communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with a client-centric mindset.
  • Motivated by and able to thrive in a targeted sales environment and comfortable in a constantly evolving organization.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a Finance, Economics or Engineering related field
  • MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce proficiency is a must

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $129,900 - $216,500. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
