This position manages and leads the operational and financial activities of the Department of GYN/OB at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC). The role is responsible for management of finance and business operations of several gyn/ob outpatient practices and supports inpatient process improvement activities. They supervise members of the administrative support team for the Department of GYN/OB at JHBMC including recruiting and onboarding staff, performing introductory and annual evaluations, mentoring staff, and ensuring appropriate coverage. The position supports schedule coordination and maintenance for provider clinical and administrative schedules in online scheduling platform and patient templates in the EMR. They lead the gyn surgical scheduling team and have administrative oversight of the department OR utilization for gyn surgeries. Serves as strategic partner to GYN/OB Chair and Department Administrator, providing business planning for new programs, financial performance evaluations, revenue enhancement, expense reduction opportunities, and clinical efficiencies. Salary Range: Minimum 31.96/hour - Maximum 55.95/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
