Major/Essential Functions


  • Review and evaluate third-party software, platforms, and tools for accessibility compliance using VPATs, ACRs, and vendor documentation.
  • Request and interpret accessibility statements and test results from vendors.
  • Identify risk levels and assign accessibility approval status.
  • Assist departments with procurement-related accessibility questions and exceptions.
  • Communicate directly with vendors to clarify gaps and coordinate accessibility testing when necessary.
  • Participate in accessibility audits, reporting, and procurement governance meetings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidates should have a solid understanding of procurement, contracting, or administrative review processes, along with general knowledge of compliance or regulatory requirements. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, including the ability to interpret complex documents, write clear summaries, and interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and comfort managing multiple tasks or deadlines. Candidates should be proficient with common office software and able to learn new systems quickly. They must demonstrate sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in job related field plus one year of related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with formal paralegal training, a degree in legal studies, or a closely related field are also encouraged to apply. Equivalent combinations of education and professional experience in compliance, regulatory work, or contract administration may be considered.

Previous professional experience collaborating with TTU Procurement or Contracting, including participation in purchasing workflows, contract development, vendor evaluations, or related approval processes, is highly valuable. Experience using TTU systems such as TechBuy, as well as other institutional purchasing or approval platforms, is preferred. Candidates with a background in supporting or leading compliance initiatives-such as accessibility reviews, regulatory assessments, legal or policy analysis, administrative oversight, or broader risk-mitigation efforts-will be particularly well prepared for this role. Demonstrated familiarity with regulatory frameworks, institutional policies, or applicable state and federal requirements will further strengthen a candidate's ability to contribute effectively to this position.
