POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Consultant serves as a consultative business partner offering assigned client group extensive experience in creative sourcing strategies and recruiting plans to deliver top talent to join Ardent. Leveraging extensive knowledge of ATS, talent markets, and advanced recruiting approaches, the TA Consultant is able to present hiring managers with a slate of quality talent to meet the needs of open positions. In addition, the TA Consultant partners closely with the TA Manager and/or Director to mentor and support new TA Coordinators and Consultants to deliver results. Consistent with the TA Consultant role, the TA Consultant is responsible to design and execute creative recruiting strategies to engage top talent through multiple channels (social and professional networks, targeted vertical-specific communities, etc.) and manage candidates from outreach to offer. This position will provide an exceptional candidate experience while serving as a subject matter expert and partner to business leaders and hiring managers across their respective client group. This position is also expected to develop lasting relationships with both candidates and hiring managers demonstrated by meeting and exceeding goals set for the role.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, including requisition management, intake, sourcing and screening, interviews, decision/selection, and offer. Ensure smooth candidate handoff to the Service Center team to complete the pre-boarding paperwork.
  • Employ creative sourcing methodologies to identify, engage, and recruit qualified candidates including market research, job boards, networking and referrals, and direct sourcing
  • Act as a consultative, talent acquisition subject matter expert by applying best practices for full lifecycle recruitment and strategic talent acquisition
  • Facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process; including defining/determining strategic sourcing, recruiting, interviewing approach/process, selecting decisions, and offer acceptance process.
  • Conduct Intake meeting with hiring manager to include a review of the Service Level Agreement (SLA), review requisition and job description, ideal candidate profile, interview process, and salary range expectations
  • Participate in the interview process and facilitate interviewer debrief sessions supporting the Hiring Manager is selecting the most qualified candidate for the role
  • Manage the candidate experience to include follow-up post-interview, offer and acceptance, and post-hire
  • Prepare and extend offer, engage in initial salary negotiations (as appropriate), manage final offer acceptance
  • Manage position requisitions from posting, disposition candidates, place silver medalist candidates in future talent pool, and close reqs in the ATS and Laborlytics
  • Drive the development and implementation of comprehensive recruiting plans that leverage Ardent branding and marketing techniques to engage both active and passive candidates
  • Represent Ardent for recruiting purposes at networking and industry events, job fairs and conferences, colleges and universities, etc.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ years of Recruiter or TA Consultant experience
  • 2+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience - Healthcare experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience developing and executing comprehensive strategic sourcing and recruitment plans preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working in an internal applicant tracking system (ICIMS experience preferred)
  • Experience gathering data on recruiting trends and preparing and presenting recommendations to improve talent sources.
  • Previous healthcare recruiting experience, preferred.

  • A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and proven organizational skills
  • Ability to positively present Ardent and open roles to potential candidates
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and demonstrate self-motivation to meet and exceed goals
