* Completes appropriate home safety evaluation and patient/caregiver education related to ordered equipment and supplies
* Performs equipment setup, orientation, and demonstration of the safe operation and use of HME * Assists in general warehouse duties such as stocking, rotating inventory, receiving, shipping, and processing equipment and supplies * Ensures courteous and efficient service is provided daily to patient base and referral sources * Ensures proper regulatory compliance is maintained as it pertains to FDA, ACHC, DOT, and HIPPA * Delivers and sets up DME equipment and instructs patients on the basic use * Loads and unloads DME equipment, oxygen, and medical supplies onto delivery truck and ensures it's properly secured and organized * Cleans and function tests all incoming dirty equipment as needed and assists with ordering and stocking of warehouse equipment and supplies * Ensures all routine vehicle maintenance is scheduled and performed as outlined by DOT Polices * Assists with hiring, coaching, performance appraisals, and disciplining of subordinate staff * Assists with daily supervision of departmental staff | |
