16-Dec-2025 Data Management Intern National Nuclear Security Administration 10566BR Who We Are As the Savannah River Site's management and operations contractor since 2008, Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) makes the world safer. With safety and security in the forefront, SRNS develops innovative approaches to deliver on our environmental commitments and nuclear materials challenges; supplies products and services necessary to maintain the nation's nuclear deterrent; secures nuclear materials to prevent unwanted proliferation; and transforms nuclear materials into assets and stable wasteforms. Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include: Responsible for managing data, establishing databases, and creating efficient processes for data handling. Additionally, the intern will standardize program management data storage, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and easy accessibility of information. A key responsibility will be to assist program managers in developing a robust configuration management system for internal data. This will involve collaborating closely with program managers to understand their data requirements, designing and implementing a system to track and control changes in the data, and ensuring that all data is properly version-controlled. The intern will be instrumental in creating documentation and procedures that support the configuration management process, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the program management team. Data Management interns will develop professional presentations that summarize their findings and project outcomes, presenting this work to stakeholders. Required Qualifications Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. Security Clearance Information SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
