Description

Markon is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to maintain the strategic coordination and planning framework for the IC Campus. This role ensures that budgeting, staffing, planning, programming, and operational considerations are fully captured in J-PMO documentation, while identifying coordination opportunities among IC Campus partners and rapidly surfacing risks to NGA's current and future operations.



Responsibilities

    Maintain the IC Campus Coordination Matrix and related coordination planning documentation across IC partners.
  • Coordinate with NGA, IC partners, and Fort Belvoir on issues impacting campus development and operations.
  • Identify, prioritize, and assess coordination elements that improve efficiency across IC Campus stakeholders.
  • Rapidly identify and communicate risks arising from IC Campus development that may impact NGA operations.
  • Provide rationale and impact assessments for recommendations affecting cost, schedule, or scope.
  • Consult with NGA and IC subject matter experts on sensitive or complex issues lacking precedent.
  • Support the development and implementation of IC Campus operational requirements within area of expertise.
  • Assist with developing budget requirements and schedules to support IC Campus development and operations.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of facilities engineering and operations.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in a U.S. state or territory.
  • Expertise in building and facility planning, design, configuration, and equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledge of LEED, Uptime Institute Data Center, ASHRAE, and NEC standards.
  • Knowledge of building electrical and HVAC systems.
  • Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 12+ years of relevant professional experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working within the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Experience supporting NGA.
  • Ability to innovate and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong customer service orientation.


Salary Range

USD $125,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
