Description

The Interventional Radiologic Technologist is responsible for circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures, procedure documentation, patient education and assisting with patient care. Vascular & Interventional Experts is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

This is a full-time position working 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday out of our Vascular & Interventional Experts-Edina Clinic.

Vascular & Interventional Experts is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:



  • Demonstrates knowledge of radiological equipment & safety, shielding techniques, imaging skills and equipment trouble-shooting skills, analyzing and recording equipment and other equipment utilized in the IR department.
  • Circulate and scrub during procedures, patient education, assisting with patient care within scope of practice and inventory management.
  • Able to identify adverse events or unanticipated outcomes using critical thinking skills and notifies the medical staff including nurses and physicians appropriately
  • Practice Radiation Safety in accordance with regulations. Selects accurate technical factors on an individual patient basis
  • Request medical records and imaging from other sites
  • Assist VIE Provider with accurate data collection, documentation, and data entry for compliance
  • Analyze and assist in resolving problems resulting in improvement of patient care, practice, and system operations.
  • Other duties as assigned


Education and Experience Requirements:



  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program
  • RT(VI), RT(CV), or RT(CT) preferred. Willing to cross-train
  • Experience as an interventional technologist preferred
  • BLS required
