- As a Small Magnetics Assembler Technician, you will be part of a team crafting transformers destined for military and industrial products.
- The Small Magnetics Assembler connects components to assemble transformers and other various fabricated items, as specified by work orders, diagrams, work instructions, or customer layouts
- Wind coils for military and commercial use by following wiring diagrams, work orders, and specifications
- Determine wire type, size, and finished dimensions based on job documentation
- Set up coil-winding machines and adjust wire tension, counters, and forming tools as needed
- Monitor winding process to ensure proper shape, turns, and consistency
- Strip, bend, shape, and tin leads; solder wires to terminals and apply insulation sleeves
- Finalize and clean completed coils before moving to the next production stage
- Accurately complete documentation and input data into the ERP system
- Work with engineering to support quality, product improvement, and compliance
- Report quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns promptly
- Follow all SOPs, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate effectively with team members and support production goals.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in small electronics assembly or a similar role.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with coil-winding techniques and machinery setup.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Manufacturing or assembly experience using drawings, sketches, or work instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Strong communication skills; able to read, write, and present information clearly
- Proficient in basic math, including fractions, decimals, percentages, and interpreting simple graphs
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal variables in structured situations
- Team-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to quality and safety.
