Kontoor Brands' Summer Intern Program is packed with projects, networking socials, cross-functional learning, and the chance to connect with industry trailblazers like our Executive Leadership Team. Previous interns have taken on projects as subject matter experts and social architects to engineer solutions through social media, Go-To-Market strategies, and denim designs. Participants can also take advantage of opportunities to explore interests in Social Issues, Sustainability, Career Fairs, Community Outreach and more. This is a 10-week, full-time paid internship. Program Overview:

  • 10-week term
  • Full-time paid internship
  • Must be local or willing to relocate to Greensboro, NC

Find Your Fit at Kontoor if you are:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program at a College/University and able to receive a paid internship
  • Eligible to work in the US without restrictions
  • Have previously demonstrated leadership skills through school, extracurricular activities and/or community involvement
  • Exceptional at taking on challenges and using your particular set of skills to create solutions
  • A self-starter, ability to work with others in a team environment, with a passion for helping others
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)

Project Role: Sales Operations

Sales Operations functions to support revenue growth opportunities for Kontoor brands by working with each of the Sales team members to maximize efficiencies. These efficiencies can be gained through improved account demand planning and shipment forecast accuracy as well as a deeper understanding of the drivers of monthly variances.

Sales Operations can also play an important role in mining new business opportunities for Kontoor brands. This can be through online competitive analysis to determine new retail placement opportunities.

Ensuring the brands of Kontoor are sold at fair and competitive retail prices across the digital marketplace is important as we intend to support a profitable business model for all our customers. Monitoring and quickly informing the respective Sales team members and customers where abnormalities are found will be important to help maintain a productive digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide deeper insights into the Sales Team's forecast variance through analyzing the trends and tracking the accuracy.
  • New customer mining - Analysis of competitive brand's retail placement and finding opportunities for Kontoor brands. For example, where competitive brand outdoor performance products are sold and Kontoor products are not.
  • Develop process of monitoring and reporting digital retail pricing MAPP violations and uncompetitive pricing actions to the respective Sales team members.

Skills for Success:

  • Very Strong Microsoft Excel skills and a passion for data organization
  • Desire to learn/use Data Visualization Platforms (Power BI)
  • Strong work ethic and able to multi-task in order to meet predetermined deadlines
  • Desire to improve presentation skills (information gathering/identifying white spaces/provide solution-based recommendations)
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, supply chain, marketing, or any other related degree
