Job Description

The Financial Business Systems Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy and reliability of PCC's primary financial and controls systems, including but not limited to SAP Concur, Watershed, Onit CLM, ADP, Paymode X, Saviynt, LeaseQuery and system integrations through PCC's various ERPs and ServiceNow help desk system. This position will play a key role in supporting cross-functional stakeholders by managing system integrations, streamlining processes and serving as a subject matter expert for each of the systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain business processes and controls for systems and system integrations.
  • Manage the integration of various business applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across the organization.
  • Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot user access and technical issues across the financial business systems.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance system efficiency and business processes, implementing improvements that align with organizational goals.
  • Work closely with other departments to understand their system needs and provide solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for SAP Concur Travel and Expense and corporate US Bank card programs administration (new users, issuing and closing US Bank credit cards, paying users based on approved expense reports, termination of users).
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within financial business systems, generating reports and conducting analysis to support business decisions.
  • Develop and manage budgets for system-related projects and maintenance.
  • Deliver system training and onboarding/offboarding support, including creating and updating training documentation, presentations and user guides.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems (Accounting degree a plus, Accounting coursework required)
  • 5 years experience in the required Accounting and/or IT related areas
  • SQL or programming language certification preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting regulations and standards
  • A deep understanding of both technical and business aspects to effectively bridge gap between IT capabilities and business needs
  • Experience using SAP Concur, Watershed, Onit CLM, ADP, Paymode X, Saviynt, ServiceNow or similar systems
  • Technical knowledge of financial system integration, configuration and data transfer
  • System implementation experience
  • Proficiency using MS Excel, SQL, VBA, MS PowerPoint, Project Management software, MS SharePoint and Visio
  • Strong understanding of business process design
  • Ability to identify potential issues and resolve them proactively to ensure smooth operations
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects and tasks including setting priorities and meeting deadlines
