The Talent Acquisition Director leads the strategic recruitment function of the organization. This role is responsible for developing and executing innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract, assess, and hire top talent across all departments. The director collaborates with senior leadership to align hiring practices with business goals and ensures a seamless candidate experience. The director is accountable for ensuring revenue targets and capacity needs are met by proactively recruiting talent to meet the needs of all business units. This position leads and coaches recruitment team on best-in-class recruiting strategies and processes to support the company's rapid growth. The director proactively works with business leaders and human resources business partners to identify talent gaps; builds and leads the execution of a plan to address these needs. Specific responsibilities include dissecting and reinventing the talent acquisition process, developing best-in-class capability, optimization of system for recruiting, sourcing strategy, driving recruitment activities, filling the Lifespark talent pipeline with qualified candidates, establishing a partnership network, and selling the Lifespark culture and model to prospective candidates and the market at large. Drive initiatives for a creative candidate generation to ensure a diverse pipeline is available to meet the needs of the business. Report on KPIs (key performance indicators) to ensure optimum time to fill and quality hire metrics.

Position: Director of Talent Acquisition

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 annually, depending on experience

Service Area: Lifespark Corporate Office, St. Louis Park 55416

Schedule: Full - Time, 1.0 FTE / Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Position Functions & Responsibilities:

Business Strategy and Support



  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with company objectives with consideration of census growth
  • Optimize recruitment process for seamless candidate and hiring manager experience with associated development, tracking and report on the effectiveness of the processes
  • Lead and mentor the recruitment team, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Oversee sourcing strategies, including employer branding, social media, and job boards
  • Manage relationships with external partners (e.g., universities, recruitment agencies, HR tech vendors) and associated budget
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and KPIs to optimize performance
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs and workforce planning



Qualifications:

Experience and Education



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience working as a recruiter in an agency or corporate setting
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing people and teams
  • At least 1 year of experience recruiting clinical candidates in a healthcare vertical. Home Health, Hospice, Private Pay or Assisted Living staffing experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of building scalable recruitment strategies
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities
  • Proficient with technology and technological applications: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, HRIS
