About our group:

You will be part of the Product Assurance Engineering team for Seagate Systems responsible for ensuring the Quality and Reliability of our products from design through production. This team works closely with all areas of the product development teams at Seagate, including but not limited to design engineering, manufacturing and process engineering, and customer managers. We are a fast-paced, global team with the objective of delivering the world's most affordable solutions for mass-capacity environments. We foster a strong team environment while recognizing outstanding individual contributions.

About the role - you will:

  • Work with the other product assurance engineers to learn the Seagate Systems products along with the testing and analysis required to qualify our products.
  • Learn and apply problem solving techniques, data collection, and analysis techniques to investigate, identify potential root cause of problems.
  • Interact with engineering and customer teams to resolve product issues and understand test requirements.
  • Learn the full test suite required to bring a product from concept to production and the tools and infrastructure required.

About you:

  • Willingness to work on multiple projects and learn all aspects of product quality and reliability.
  • Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Interested in the storage industry and learning all aspects of product assurance qualification.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and willing to be on site 5 days a week.
  • Willing to challenge the current methods if you believe there are better ways to perform a given task or role.

Your experience includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and/or Computer Science.
  • Experience with Python, Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Have storage systems knowledge.
  • Familiar with Linux.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $63,835.00-$91,290.00. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
