C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst

Purpose:


  • Valkyrie Enterprises is looking for a C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst in Colorado Springs, CO.
  • In this role you will support staff with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agency's Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). This position requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes to include cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.


Job Description:


  • Working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding;
  • Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists
  • Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration;
  • Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution
  • Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
  • Support and interact with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand).
  • Develop reports, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:


  • Must have a Bachelors Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience or Master Degree and 12+ years of experience.
  • Must possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines.
  • Must have experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements.
  • Must be capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS.
  • Must have experience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space based program and/or a DoD.


Desired Qualifications:


  • MDA experience, preferred.


Security Requirements:


  • Must have an Active DOD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it.


Travel Requirements:


  • Occasional Travel; 10% or less
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:


  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Pay Range: $155,000 - $170,000 per year
