SALARY RANGE: $156,400.00 - $226,812.50

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Under the direction of the EVP, Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Executive Director, Supply Chain provides strategic and operational leadership for all logistics, dry cargo warehousing, and distribution activities across GROWMARK, Inc. The role is accountable for designing, optimizing, and executing an integrated supply chain that consistently delivers safe, efficient, cost-effective, and customer-centered performance.

SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP

Supervises, leads, and develops the Director, Wholesale Distribution Centers; Director, Dispatch & Asset Management; Director, Fleet Operations & Customer Experience; and the Senior Manager, Transporation Finance & Administration.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Strategic Supply Chain Leadership

  • Provides overall leadership of GROWMARK's logistics and dry cargo distribution systems, ensuring an optimized, resilient, and scalable supply chain.
  • Develops long-range strategies, programs, and tools that strengthen supply chain performance across assigned business units.

Distribution Network Management

  • Ensures safe, efficient, customer-focused operation of all GROWMARK-owned distribution centers.
  • Oversees third-party distribution centers to ensure exceptional service and cost-effective performance.

Fleet, Transportation, and Asset Management

  • Leads performance of Manito Transit and GROWMARK Tank & Truck Centers, delivering top-tier customer service, safe operations, and financial performance.
  • Oversees the GROWMARK and Manito Transit trailing equipment fleets, ensuring proper maintenance, lifecycle management, and fleet optimization.

Financial Stewardship

  • Directs the annual budgeting process for all assigned business units, ensuring sound financial management and alignment with organizational priorities.

Enterprise Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partners with product divisions to ensure supply chain solutions meet business needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborates with vendors, carriers, technology partners, and other external organizations to identify joint opportunities to improve efficiency, improve customer experience or strengthen profitability.
  • Consults with the Senior Vice President of Strategy on AgraForm operations.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Ensures all operations adhere to GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health & Safety standards, OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement, standardization, and operational discipline across the supply chain.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a college degree in agronomy, ag economics, ag business, supply chain, or other business-related field or equivalent, plus at least 10 years of related experience to demonstrate the ability to provide supply chain leadership to the GROWMARK System.

Proven professional communication, interpersonal, persuasion, negotiation, and customer service skills.

Demonstrated planning, organization, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel independently and overnight when necessary.

Must be willing and able to work hours beyond those usually considered normal.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
