Summary:TheProductionPlanner IIwillbe responsible formanagingtheshort-termproduction plans andlong-termcapacity assessmentacross allvalue-addedplants for Trident Seafoods'domestic business.

  • Develop production plansover a rolling3 monthhorizonto deliver superior customer service while managing inventory levels.
  • Review Capacity to Demand ratio over a rolling12-monthhorizon to drive plant efficiency whiledelivering oninventory goals.
  • Schedule and lead weeklycross functional production planningand S&OEmeetings
  • Own Production planning metrics: Schedule Adherence andCapacity Utilization
  • Collaborate with plants weekly to ensure weoptimizeschedules based on customer/SKU priorities, RMavailabilityand safety stockgoals
  • Proactively review future risk (to service orutilization) and communicate with Commercial and Operational leads.
  • Schedule andparticipatein monthly RCCP meetings- clearly communicateutilizationand inventory build over the horizon.
  • Proposestepwiseimprovements to existingprocesses
  • Call out and propose solutions when identifying MRP discrepancies

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Modify existing analytics tools within Excelasneeded
  • Propose improvements to analytics tools withinIBP
  • Work with plants to create andmaintaina master list of production linecapacities
  • Monitor and report out plant schedule adherence (PSA)
  • Acquiresknowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activitiesin accordance withtraining and procedures/work instructions
  • Notifiesdesignated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented,in accordance withEnvironmental Awareness and/or safetytrainings

This is an exempt position with an annualized salaryrange of $90,000 to $115,000.

Minimum Requirements

RequiredQualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)

Experience:

  • 3-6yearsof experience in a CPG industry in the areas of production planning, materialplanningand S&OP
  • ExcellentExcel skillsrequired: Power-pivot skills aplus

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, mathematics or related field required

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsrequired. Must enjoy and be proficient in working with numbers and mining forinsights
  • Experience working in Supply Planning tools (SAP/Oracleetc.)preferred
  • Master's degree BusinessManagementpreferred, APICS or Six Sigma certification in lieu of MBA

Work Environment

This is an on-site position based at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.

Physical/Mental demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time at a desk. Frequently required to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee will occasionally stand, walk, and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision for frequent use of a computer.
