| Job Description |
Harford Community College is currently seeking a part-time Office Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to HCC's summer camp operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with daily operations of camps, providing administrative support to camp staff, assisting customers with Camp Minder registration, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States, as the College does not offer Visa sponsorship for this position.

| Required Experience |
Minimum of one year of administrative support experience. |
| Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities |
- Thorough knowledge of general administrative and office practices and procedures
- Computer proficiency in a Windows-based PC environment and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant computer software applications.
- Ability to maintain current and accurate files as assigned, hard copy and electronic.
- Ability to work and cooperate with co-workers and supervisors at all levels.
- Ability to work with, within, and promote a diverse workforce and environment.
- Ability to coordinate the activities of several ongoing projects.
- Ability to understand and act on oral and written instructions in English.
- Ability to maintain customer service and satisfaction as it relates to the assigned unit or area of expertise.
- Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately

| Preferred Qualifications |
Associate Degree
Experience with Camp Minder software is a plus. |

20 hours per week, Monday - Friday
9 am - 4 pm
May-August (based on needs) |
