Structured Cabling Technician (Cat6) - NYC Top Skills - Must Haves * Experience with Cat6 and Cat5 cabling * Ability to pull, test, and terminate Cat6 cable Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves * Familiarity with other low-voltage systems (e.g., CCTV, access control) * Experience working in fast-paced commercial construction environments Job Description We are seeking a skilled Structured Cabling Technician to support a long-term commercial construction project in New York City. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cat6 cable installation, including pulling, testing, and terminating. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Proficient in reading blueprints and cable layouts * Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in tight spaces * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Work Environment * Active commercial construction site * Must be comfortable with physical labor and working in various conditions Business Drivers / Customer Impact This role supports the expansion and modernization of critical infrastructure for a high-profile commercial client in NYC. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
