The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary
This position will support the department by performing studies on understanding genome instability in early mammalian development. The position's responsibilities will involve whole genome amplification, NGS, bioinformatics, immunostaining and microscopy, induction of site specific DSBs using Crispr/Cas9 and the evaluation of genetic consequences.

Responsibilities
- Perform studies on understanding genome instability in early mammalian development.
- Involve whole genome amplification, NGS, bioinformatics, immunostaining and microscopy, induction of site specific DSBs using Crispr/Cas9 and the evaluation of genetic consequences.
- Understand genomic attrition at a DSB site.
- Assist with the study of developmental arrest induced by exogenous RNA.
- Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or physics or a completed animal husbandry program or equivalent in education, training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in biotechnology.
- One year of related experience is preferred.
- Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of various related laboratory procedures and techniques preferred.
