Job Title:Total Rewards Specialist Job Description:

Summary

The Total Rewards Specialist will provide support to the Total Rewards team (Benefits, Compensation, and Payroll) within Human Resources. This position is responsible for assisting with benefit enrollment and administration, benefit and compensation program management, payroll processing activities, and HRIS management. The Specialist also assists with administering and implementing policies and programs relative to benefits, compensation, and payroll functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct support and assistance to the Total Rewards team on related matters, ensuring alignment with company policies, goals and objectives.

  • Maintains accurate records within HRIS, completes employee processes ensuring data accuracy, and performs data audits.

  • Runs reports and assists with data review and analysis to track and measure Total Rewards metrics.

  • Participates in testing system configuration updates and changes.

  • Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong data analysis and problem solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively

  • Basic knowledge of federal and state labor law. Ability to learn employment law in California.

  • Ability to understand and communicate business needs in an understandable and succinct manner.

  • Results-oriented and self-motivated

  • Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field

  • Minimum 2-3 years human resources or other relevant business-related experience in a fast-paced environment with a team focus.

  • Experience in financial services / banking preferred

Computer and Software Skills:

  • Microsoft office suite, with proficiency in Excel

  • Workday preferred

  • None
