HR Internship - UI Health Care

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

Interns will be assigned to a supervisor and given specific projects within their areas to gain hands-on experience related to human resources. Best efforts will be made to align projects with areas of interest. By introducing students to the important work we do at UI Health Care, we aim to:

SCHEDULE & REQUIREMENTS

The internship program will run for approximately10 weeks, fromTuesday,May 26 throughFriday,July 31. Interns will earn$16/hourand are expected to work 32-40 hoursper week, according to a scheduledeterminedby the intern and supervisor.Outside commitments such as summer courses may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

Mustbe a current University of Iowa student with a strong interest in human resources. Preference will be given to current sophomores, juniors, and first-semester seniors; May graduates may also be considered. Prefer that students have completed an Employment Law course prior to the internship.
