Monday - Friday Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Medical Insurance or Billing Processes. Experience in Microsoft Systems with skills that include Excel, Outlook and Word are essential to the position. The ability to quickly learn and understand new and a variety of software systems is needed and should not be underestimated. The Self Pay Patient Account Representative demonstrates an exceptional positive attitude and is flexible in both the acceptance of work assignment on a given day and continual changes in processing and procedure. The ability to communicate both in written and verbal forms to the community, introductory to executive staff, and legal professionals, is required at a higher-than-average level. This individual must demonstrate the ability to prioritize work, self-motivate, and return to regular work tasks after other assignments are complete. This position is primarily remote and requires sitting for long periods in front of computer screens while being continually available to co-workers and management. Quiet personal home work-space is needed for success. Some Self Pay Team Members may be required to work from the home office located at the Quarter Deck Building for 1 to 2 days per week as assigned. Training is extensive and a Self-Pay Patient Account Representative can expect learning of the basic position to take as long as 6 months, with full understanding of the position taking as much as two years. Training will take place in person and virtually as determined by Trainer and Supervisor for up to 6 months to work without direct supervision as necessary. Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $16.68 - $26.31 hourly Application Materials
