Description

The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization's financial reporting process by preparing accurate, timely, and compliant financial information. This role partners with accounting, treasury, and business leadership to ensure high-quality financial analysis and adherence to applicable accounting standards across reporting activities. The analyst contributes to financial statement preparation, consolidation of domestic and foreign entities, and ongoing enhancement of the reporting frameworks.

Specific Duties Include:



    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Execute the monthly and quarterly financial consolidation process, ensuring accurate elimination entries, foreign-currency translation, and compliance with GAAP reporting requirements.
    • Assist in the annual external audit and preparation of annual audited financial statements.
    • Assist in regulatory audits with lending partners.
    • Assist in the preparations for filing of tax returns.


    • Maintain and enhance general ledger account accuracy, structure, and integrity.


    • Assist other department personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.


    • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
    • Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co.
    • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
    • Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
    • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.


    Job Requirements:



    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    • CPA not required, but preferred
    • Two years of work-related experience in financial consolidation and reporting
    • Familiar with GAAP accounting concepts and procedures and financial reporting practices.
    • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.


    • Exemplify teamwork and camaraderie.

    • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheet programs
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to travel up to 5%
