Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Assist with management of the day to day operations of facilities technicians with consideration to financial performance.
  • Actively mentor and train field staff.
  • Assist with technician scheduling operations.
  • Periodically review technician work documentation and ensure completeness.
  • Assist with inventory, maintenance, and organization of required supplies and equipment
  • Assist with maintenance of the technician qualifications database and conduct field audits for quality and safety.
  • Daily communications with technicians, project managers, and general contractors.
  • Attend project meetings with field staff as needed.
  • Assist with recruiting to maintain appropriate staff levels with collaboration and approval by your supervisor.
  • May participate in business development, marketing, and client development.
  • May assist with project management as experience and project needs dictate.
  • Provide assistance to Project Managers, the Department Manager, and assist with administrative duties as needed.
  • Perform technician job duties as needed.
  • Other duties as requested.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3 years of specialty and/or Facilities Technician experience or equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education required; experience with ECS systems and procedures preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required; 2 year technical degree in related field preferred
  • Two Facilities certifications required
    • Professional certifications (such as NRCA/RCI, AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector) preferred.
  • If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required
  • Professional oral & written communication skills
  • Dependable, self-motivated, responsible and detail-oriented
  • Ability to interpret data and properly record collected information
  • Ability to work effectively in teams, with clients, peers and supervisors as well as independently
  • Ability to perform basic building envelope quality assurance and envelope testing, and have a working knowledge of more advanced testing techniques and equipment
  • Proficiency with electronic devices such as phones, tablets, and laptops
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office
  • Understanding of technical testing and evaluation processes
  • Must be able to occasionally lift a minimum of 40 pounds
  • Must be comfortable working at heights
  • Knowledge of ECS systems and procedures is a plus
