| Organizational Unit Overview |
The Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences (Harriot College, https://thcas.ecu.edu/) employs approximately 450 full-time faculty and staff, and the Dean's Office oversees all budget, personnel and academic matters in its departments, interdisciplinary programs, centers, institutes, and auxiliary offices. Harriot College is home to 15 academic departments and offers more than 50 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. As the home of the liberal arts and sciences at

| Job Duties |
Primary job duties for this position include:
- Monitor grant/contract budgets and create/maintain spreadsheets as necessary
- Reconcile grant/contract budgets on a monthly basis
- Manage purchasing on grants/contracts and process financial actions/reimbursements associated with grants/contracts
- Create and reconcile grant/contract travel for travel reimbursements
- Assist with budget revisions
- Create/process forms necessary to pay personnel on grant/contract funds
- Process effort reporting for assigned departments
- Assist with the grant/contract closeout process
- Communicate with faculty on federal, state and university regulations regarding management of grants/contracts and disbursement of funds
- Communicate with the THCAS post-award grants manager, Associate Dean for Research, and appropriate ORA staff

High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. |

Prefer experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, experience in higher education academic departments or student services.
