This is a/an 75% full-time equivalency (FTE) job with months off. The number of months off will be determined by the position's FTE percentage. The timing of months off will be set to meet the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the position. The salary grade and range listed in the posting is reflective of a 100% Full-time position. Full-time equivalency job offers may fall outside of the listed range due to the assigned percentage of effort.POSITION SPECIFICS This position is located at University Park within University Health Services (UHS). The schedule follows a Monday-Friday workweek during the academic year, with occasional Saturday hours as operational needs arise. Penn State University Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team. The Nurse Practitioner provides timely, efficient, and effective patient-centered care for the treatment of health concerns and the promotion of wellness throughout the University community. This position also performs a variety of medical surveillance examinations and serves as a clinical resource supporting students, faculty, and staff. Key Responsibilities Clinical Assessment & Care

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS Master's Degree 2+ years of relevant experience Required Certifications: Registered Nurse Practitioner - Pennsylvania State Board of NursingBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
